The Sri Lankan Study Centre for the Advancement of Technology and Social Welfare (SCATS Australia) was founded in 1992 as a leadership building and social welfare foundation — one of the oldest Sri Lankan community organisations in Melbourne.
From a handful of dedicated professionals, SCATS has grown into a vibrant organisation serving Sri Lankans and the wider Australian community in the fields of arts, religion, culture, sports and innovation.

SCATS has been the heart of our community for over three decades. The programs we run change lives and keep our culture alive for future generations of Sri Lankan Australians.
The senior welfare programs have given me and my friends a true purpose and community. We meet, exercise and share knowledge — it is wonderful what SCATS does for us every week.
