WEB BASED AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR SRI LANKA

Govimithura (Farmers’ Friend) is a web-based MIS for agriculture production aiming to maximize the farming returns and to overcome market difficulties for farmers while assisting agro-based industries to minimize stock holding costs. After free registration, farmers can select a crop on the area, planting date, irrigation restrictions, Department of recommendations and predictions and the algorithm predicts the price at the time of harvest. Govimithura shows the date of harvest, quantity at farm gate and contact details of the farmers for the produce buyers will be available by minimizing the current farming losses faced at harvest time. Additionally, end users like food manufacturers, organic fresh traders, extension officers and fertilizer and agro chemical businesses can benefitted by minimizing the wastage of agro-products and minimizing holding costs.

RAISED INTERSECTIONS ON ARTERIAL ROADS

Concept is raising road pavement of a whole intersection (junction) introducing ramps with mild on approaches and departure sides to the arterial road network in Victoria. This concept encourages drivers to slow down when they approach an intersection. Physical feeling due to the ramp and height difference and perceptual feeling due to Piano Keys pavement markings discourage speeding up at Raised Intersections.

DUAL CHELATE FERTILIZER (DCF) -SCIENCE IN THE PLANT NUTRITIO

Dualchelate innovative technology began in 2017 with the vision of filling the gap for a low-toxic but highly efficient fertiliser for commercial crop production. We own the most advanced patented technologies which use plant-derived Amino Acids and Organic Molecules extracted from sustainable sources as chelating agents resulting in high efficiency fertilizer. Research programs and the zero waste manufacturing facility with ISO 9001 certification are in Robinvale, Victoria and the processers are powered by solar power. We have ASPAC certified QC Laboratory & a member of the Global Soil Laboratory Network and UNGC (United Nations Global Compact). DCF has further expanded its branches in agricultural areas in SA, NSW & QLD. We continuously look for the innovative minds in Sri Lanka to be able to assist in near future.
